I hope we don't end too many hours debating and not enough doing. There are some real movers and shakers within the club but, we are all volunteers, so our priorities change. But mostly this is a good bunch. We have lost our sponsorship secretary - and that is a key role - boards around the ground, donations, general support are fantastic. We have a good rapport with our sponsors - they are mostly local business's so help drive out our mission to be the centre of the community. Cricket has been over the years and long may it continue.
Other highlights from the Agm -
- sales and turnover up - fantastic - really bucks the trend. Pubs all around are going kaput!
- Lot of work done during the tear - refurbishment decorating etc
- Best comment was from one of the senior members "not only did we win the league on the field but we won it from every perspective - quality of the ground, teas, hospitality
